Information we use
The website address and document you submit, the public pages and screenshots of that website, the critique and brand book we make from them, your email address when you sign in to buy, and payment records. Stripe collects your card and billing details at checkout.
How the work is done
Your document goes straight to Sigil's private storage on AWS. A private studio service on AWS reads it with your website and sends the material it needs to OpenAI's API to write the critique. A paid Book is made by Sigil's own studio runtime on AWS, using the same providers. We use Vercel to host the website, Neon for orders and payments, our shared Accounts service for sign-in, Resend for email and Stripe for payment. Error reports go to Sentry without your email, address or the content you submit. An analytics provider (PostHog), to understand how the site is used: pages visited, clicks, and how the site performs. It never receives your payment details, what you type, or your address. You can turn it off with "Do not track me" at the bottom of any page.
Confidentiality and retention
We use your document only for your own Read and Book, never publish it, and delete it after 30 days. A Read stays at its link for 90 days. A paid Book stays available from your account; write to us to have it removed. Payment records are kept for accounting.
Your choices
For access, correction or deletion, write to sigil@auto-units.com from the email you used. Deleting a Book does not undo a payment.
